The climate in Mexico
Mexico has two seasons, the so-called dry season from November to May and the so-called wet season from June to October. In reality the rain generally comes at the end of the day or at night, and doesn’t stop you from enjoying the plentiful sunshine. Cancun is on the Caribbean coast, which has a subtropical climate with little rainfall. Temperatures are high all year round, but the presence of the sea makes the heat much easier to cope with, and the air is much fresher than the inland regions. The temperature of the sea never drops below 26°C.
