Born in Hong Kong, Maria moved to Toronto in pursuit of fulfilling her lifelong ambition to work in the hospitality industry. Her career was launched in 1990, when she played an instrumental role in the opening of InterContinental Toronto Yorkville where she spent 10 years. Subsequently, she worked in various senior sales and marketing positions for InterContinental Toronto Centre, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts U.S. and Caribbean and the Westin Prince Toronto as Director of Sales and Marketing. Maria joined the Thompson Toronto team where she was directly involved in another exceptional hotel opening. Thereafter, she held various managerial positions at the Toronto Congress Centre, the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel and the opening of Kimpton Saint George Toronto hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing. Her comprehensive knowledge of the MICE market in Ontario and depth of hospitality experience will instill the sales and marketing initiatives for Meetings and Events by Club Med. Maria’s vibrant personality shines both inside and outside the office. She has a passion for travelling the world alongside her husband. When she is not planning her next family trip, she can be found enjoying her husband’s adventurous culinary creations or ballroom dancing with him at local dance parties and events.
Mélanie St Germain
Group Sales Manager
After being one of the youngest directors of finance in the automobile industry, Mélanie St Germain opened her own restaurant at only 24 years old. Following a successful transition from the restaurant industry to a position in the group department of a Golf Club, Melanie was chosen by Château Vaudreuil Hôtel & Suites to be their Sales and Marketing Director, strengthening for four years their group business.
Thus, it is strong from more than 15 years of experience in sales and customer service, with diversified background and network that Mélanie St Germain joins with pride the Club Med team.

Her relationship with Club Med began in 1988 when she replaced our CEO’s assistant during her six-month maternity leave. She then worked as a Member Relations Coordinator, and for the past 24 years, in development at Meetings & Events by Club Med, Canada. Lisanne is a pillar of the Groups department. With her vast knowledge of Club Med’s products, she can help you decide from among all our destinations around the world, according to the type of event and group. The company has also recognized her as a “Club Med Expert.” This title is given to Club Med employees who demonstrate strong expertise and a unique understanding of our products. Lisanne welcomes and processes each group’s request in a highly professional manner. That being said, she is also known for a sense of humour, and, like the Club, for her warm and friendly nature. One of her favourite travel destinations, recently discovered with her partner: Morocco.
After five years as a Senior Corporate Travel Consultant at American Express GBT, Marjorie joined Meetings & Events by Club Med team in November 2017 as a sales specialist. She coordinates transport for the groups.

Liliya Mikhailova, passionate about tourism industry, joined Club Med in August 2016. Before arriving at Club Med, she was reservation sales agent and then community manager at Sunwing.
On arrival at Club Med she was reservation sales agent then she joined Meetings & Events by Club Med team. Liliya has responsibility for coordinating all the needs of each group, from the signing of the contract to the follow-up after their return.
Groups & Sales Coordinator
Amélie first joined the Club Med team in 2007. After working for three years as a booking agent, she temporarily left Club Med, gaining two years of experience in a travel agency. She returned in 2012, becoming a Groups and Sales Coordinator at Meetings & Events by Club Med, Canada. Since then, she has been coordinating and managing group operations in planning trips. She makes sure that all their needs are met, from the signing of the contract to the follow-up after the return of the group. She has also had the pleasure of accompanying certain groups in order to make sure their program is carried out smoothly by the Meetings & Events by Club Med teams already on-site. With over eight years of experience in sales and customer service, Amélie offers service that is customized, fair, and sincere. She is meticulous and attentive to detail, with a personal mission to make every event a success. Amélie definitely chose the right career – she has a long-standing passion for travel, and also enjoys scuba diving and snowboarding.
